March 27 2004...not today ^_~
Oh my god. That was ranked the BEST show ever. (if you forget that I hadn't had much sleep and it showed MUCHLY) Well, yesh.
I had hoped my cold would clear up, but it only got worse, making me look more tired. huhah. Stinkage. We left really really early, and found a nice parking area, walked around for a while, ate, anddd then walked to the venue. (at around an hour and a half or so early). As we walked up, so did Gene, Jim, Matt and Brett. Twas cool. Ah yes very cool. So we talked to them for a while and gave them our SUPERr cool presents. ^_^ Theen they left to go inside. We made a sign that said "LAUREN" and held it up so she could find us, and she soon did. ^_^ Heck yeh. It was pretty cold but that soon changed when the band talked to Dan and secretly sent him to bring us some Hot Chocolate/tea. That was SO EXTREMELY kind. *tear* We were no longer cold. ^_^
While we were waiting each band member occasionally walked out and said "You're still here?". Gene and Jim had really nice hair. ^_^ and I am glad to have met Brett and Matt, cause they were cool. ^_^
They played a GREAT show and the band before them was not that bad. I hope g0d did not feel nervous with five cameras taking pictures of them...but the pictures that I have seen turned out GREAT.
After they played we ran to the back tables to capture some Garden of Dreams merchandice that they were getting rid of, and I think I met Gene's dad. *shrug* It was too loud...but Kate said it was. He said something about Gene being lucky to have a fanclub leader like me..or something...I was really deaf, so I just nodded.
We met with the band for pictures and autographs and such. I was not very talkative cause I felt like if I said something I would cry. I gave Gene, Gene Bear. Yes, the legendary Bear. ALOT of people told me I should and I agree. ^_^ They said "You need a new Gene Bear for The Faded...LIKE A NEW BEGINING." lol..crazies...but smart I suppose. Becky and I are gonna keep an eye out for a new Gene bear..or pony...or cat or whatever I come across.
We decided to leave early cause Lauren needed to find her station...we got lost...really really really lost. Stupid confusing Chicago. We eventully found it. ^_^
So uhmm..yes I had TONS of fun. Ima really cited about the Faded. Now for the thank yous...search for your name..cause it is PROLLY on here if you read all of this..
OH...I want to thaaankkkk Lauren for all her really cool gifts, and for hanging with us, cause I had alot of fun with her! I would like to thank Becky for EVERYTHING..Seriously Becky...thank you so much...you are the best...thank you thank you...I owe you ALOT! I would like to thank Kelly, because if it werent for Kelly, I would not have been there last night or any night. I would like to thankkk Dan and Kate for coming...hmmm. Thank you to Kaylin and Casey for not being mad at me for not being able to fit you in the car...I really really wish you coulda been there. Thank you to Gretchen for the cool Backstage Pass thing. ^_~ And now I move on to those who prolly won't see there thank yous but Ima thankt hem ne ways. Thank you to Gene and Jim for EVERYTHING...thank you thank you thank you, you rock. Thank you to the guys from Happy Endings for having Hobbit Hair.
That should be all...if you think you should have been thanked, post here, andddddd tell me to thank you. I shall concider it. ^_^ I appreciate every little thing.
